La bola de la válvula tiene poca inercia, por lo que la presión de apertura de la válvula antirretorno es aproximadamente la mitad que la de una válvula clapet.
Bola recubierta de caucho nitrílico, resistente al agua limpia dulce o de mar, aguas residuales o pluviales, incluso con residuos de hidrocarburos.
La extrema simplicidad conceptual de la válvula hace que no necesite mantenimiento.
